Job summary

Alfa Laval in Tulsa/Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is seeking a Header Welder to perform welding, grinding, and related assembly tasks according to blueprints and work orders. You will operate MIG and flux-core equipment, oxyacetylene preheating, and assist with layout and fit-up.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic math, and proficiency in English. A Pulmonary Function Test may be required for stainless work; crane/hoist experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and instructions to understand weld procedures.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and layouts for header fabrication.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Weld headers using MIG and flux-core techniques.
• Preheat heads with oxyacetylene torches and prepare attachment openings.
• Perform layout and fit-up of headers per specifications.
