Job summary

Alfa Laval is hiring a Welder I to lay out, fit, tack and weld steel components per blueprints in Tulsa, OK and Broken Arrow, OK. You will use MIG/TIG welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and drill presses with focus on precision, structural integrity, and clean finishes.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1 year MIG/TIG welding experience, and basic math/tape measure skills. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience using mig or tig welding.
• Manufacturing experience required; industry background preferred.
• Proficient in MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch use.
• Skilled in basic math and tape measure reading.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and follow instructions to execute weld procedures.
• Operate mig and/or tig welders, stick welding, grinders, plasma cutters, drill presses, and other tools.
• Assemble and weld parts with precision using clamps, bolts, and tack welds.
• Plan layouts and welding sequences for structural integrity and safety.
• Inspect and correct welds to meet quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
