Job summary

Alfa Laval in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Structure Welder for 2nd shift to lay out, fit, tack and weld steel components per blueprints. You will use MIG/TIG welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and drills to ensure precision and clean finishes, with attention to dimensional and aesthetic standards.

You will read drawings, plan layouts, inspect welds, and maintain equipment while supporting team training and safety. Minimum 1 year MIG/TIG welding and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MIG or TIG welding experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience and fixtures handling.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and use of measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and follow weld procedures.
• Operate MIG/TIG welders, grinders, plasma cutters and drills.
• Weld carbon and aluminum steel with precision.
• Assemble and weld parts with clamps and tack welds.
• Plan layouts and welding sequences for safety.
• Inspect welds and verify dimensions with measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform routine maintenance.
• Support material handling and assist training of others.
• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE consistently.
• Crosstrain across departments to expand skills.
