"Make a Difference in Every Dish – Become Our Head Steward!" Hilton Salt Lake City is looking for a Head Steward/Dishwasher eager to grow and develop in the culinary arts.

Must have a flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to adapt to changes and possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

The Head Steward supervises and trains all stewarding personnel. Responsible for ensuring all banquet and restaurant functions have the proper equipment and supplies. Inspects all kitchen and back-of-the-house food and beverage areas to ensure cleanliness and safety. Manages inventory of china, glass, silver, and other food and beverage equipment.

What will I be doing?

The Head Steward oversees non-food production areas within the kitchen, such as dishwashing and storage. Ensures timely and proper delivery of food from the kitchen for service. Implements and monitors sanitation standards and procedures. Maintains the security and functionality of food service equipment. Performs dishwashing, restocks supplies, and maintains cleanliness to comply with health regulations. Manages inventory of china, glass, and silverware, and ensures equipment is secure and well-maintained.
