"Make a Difference in Every Dish – Become Our Head Steward!" Hilton Salt Lake City is seeking a Head Steward/Dishwasher eager to grow in the culinary arts.

Requirements: Must have a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to adapt to changes and possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

The Head Steward supervises and trains stewarding staff, ensures availability of equipment and supplies for banquet and restaurant functions, inspects kitchen and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and safety, and manages inventory of china, glass, silver, and other food and beverage equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage non-food production areas such as dishwashing and storage, ensuring timely and proper delivery of food for service.
• Implement and oversee sanitation standards and procedures.
• Maintain and secure food service equipment, ensuring it is functional and well-maintained.
• Wash dishes and utensils, restock supplies, and perform cleaning duties to meet health standards.
• Control inventory of china, glass, and silverware.
• Oversee supply levels and equipment maintenance for banquet and restaurant areas.
