Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum one year of early childhood classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check in MD and surrounding states.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum as guided by leadership and colleagues.
• Refer children suspected of needing special support to appropriate staff and implement behavior plans.
• Foster a positive learning environment and supervise children at all times.
• Maintain portfolios, observe development, and document progress.
• Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional skills.
