Job summary

Norwescap seeks a Head Start Classroom Substitute in Stanhope, NJ. Hours are as needed, not to exceed 8 hours daily. Compensation ranges from $17.28 to $19.59 per hour, with opportunities for growth and skill development within a fast-paced, nonprofit Head Start program.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma while pursuing a CDA, to be completed within two years of hire.
• Preferred: CDA or Bachelor's in early childhood education or related field.
• Experience with young children is preferred.
• Head Start experience and at-risk population exposure are assets.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: High school diploma working towards CDA to be completed within two years of hire.

Preferred Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA)- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.

Experience: Experience working with young children.

Preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk population, Head Start experience.
