Job summary

Norwescap seeks a Head Start and/or Early Head Start Classroom Substitute to support daily activities at our Phillipsburg location. The role is as-needed, with shifts not exceeding 8 hours, and involves helping maintain a safe learning space for vulnerable children.

Qualifications include a high school diploma with CDA progress within two years of hire; preferred CDA or higher education in early childhood. Prior experience with at-risk populations is valued, and compassionate, organized team

Qualifications

• High school diploma with CDA toward completion within two years of hire.
• CDA certification or pursuing CDA is preferred.
• Experience with young children in a Head Start setting is valued.
