Qualifications

• Lead Teacher and Director I certifications are required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field.
• At least one year experience in an appropriate early childhood setting.
• At least one year working with behavioral/special needs; supervisory experience.
• Alternate credential: Associate Degree and active enrollment in a program leading to a Bachelor's Degree with at least four years of experience in an appropriate early childhood setting, including behavioral special needs and EEC Lead Teacher and Director I certification.

Responsabilités

• Oversee center administration for a site with one classroom.
• Ensure licensing and accreditation per Head Start and EEC regulations.
• Provide mentoring and reflective supervision to education staff.
• Collaborate with Family Advocate to meet School Readiness goals for children and families.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines and bus monitor coverage.
