Community Action Pioneer Valley, Inc. seeks a Lead Teacher to oversee Head Start classroom operations under MA regulations. You will collaborate with families to advance school readiness goals, supervise staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance for early childhood education.

Responsibilities include curriculum delivery, assessments, and coordination with bus routes. Remote work may be assigned; travel to assigned locations is possible as needed.

Formación

• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, word processing).
• Strong verbal communication for in-person and phone interactions.
• Clear written communication and documentation abilities.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of data capture and tracking methods.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain classroom operations per Head Start and EEC standards.
• Supervise children with bus monitoring and safety protocols.
• Provide guidance to teaching staff through supervision and observation.
• Complete weekly curriculum, anecdotal records, assessments, and home visits.
• Engage families to create school readiness goals for children.
• Collaborate with specialists to implement program goals.
• Occasionally cover for other classrooms and bus monitors.
• Remote work from home may be assigned and used for meetings and duties during service hours.
