WNCSource in Hendersonville, NC seeks a Head Start Bilingual Behavior Coach to mentor teaching staff, implement curricula, and enhance classroom interactions. This full-time role emphasizes supporting dual language learners and elevating program quality.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of early childhood experience, a qualifying Baccalaureate degree, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Head Start or related program experience is a plus.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Education: Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, or related field from an accredited college recognized by NC DCDEE.
• Bonus points: Head Start, NC Pre-K, Developmental Day Program or Practice-Based Coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, on-site coaching and mentoring to teaching teams to improve teacher–child interactions and curriculum implementation.
• Screen, plan, and support English language development for dual language learners.

What You'll Do

• Coach & Mentor: Provide hands‑on, on‑site coaching and mentoring to teaching teams to improve teacher‑child interactions and ensure high‑quality curriculum implementation.
• Support Dual Language Learners: Screen, plan, and work directly with staff to execute engaging learning experiences that promote English language development for bilingual children.
• Design & Deliver Training: Create and lead dynamic training sessions centered on early childhood development and curriculum fidelity.
• Elevate Classroom Quality: Empower teachers with positive behavior techniques and classroom strategies that help every child succeed.

Education & Qualifications
