WNCSource is seeking an After-School Staff / Preschool After-School Care Staff in Brevard, NC. Earn $20.00 per hour with a rewarding afternoon schedule, Monday–Friday 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Perfect for students, retirees, or anyone seeking an afternoon role in a supportive childcare setting.

Minimum 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of supervising children under five. Relevant prior childcare experience in licensed settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising children under age five.
• Professional background in a licensed daycare, church nursery, YMCA, summer camp, or paid nanny position.

Responsibilities

• Engage & Nurture: Provide high-quality support in preschool and early learning classrooms, engaging children of all learning styles and abilities.
• Guide Afternoon Activities: Lead fun, safe, and age-appropriate learning and play activities during afternoon hours.
• Build Positive Relationships: Foster supportive, trusting connections with children, staff, and families.
