Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. seeks a Food Deliverer in South Boston to transport meals to Head Start sites, deliver supplies, and ensure timely, safe food service. You will maintain temperature logs, support inventory, and help uphold sanitary standards in all deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals to Head Start sites.
• Deliver supplies to sites as needed.
• Return food containers to kitchen daily.
• Store food and equipment properly in vehicle and at the program.
• Maintain safe food temperatures for hot/cold foods.
• Maintain records, temperature logs and conduct safety checks as needed.
• Deliver food to classrooms and complete Food Safety checklist.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
