Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking a Per Diem Driver in Boston to pick up and deliver home-delivered meals across East Boston and neighboring communities. The role requires a valid driver’s license and HS Diploma or GED, with driving experience preferred.

You will work part-time, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain professional conduct and safety standards. Responsibilities include route checking, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and interacting courteously with participants while adhering to traffic

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-delivered meals on time in a professional, safe manner.
• Keep vehicle clean and fueled for deliveries.
• Present on time with proper hygiene, dress code and ID badge.
• Check route sheet and HDM sheet with kitchen before departure.
• Deliver furthest route first and mark delivery time next to participant's name.
• Interact with participants professionally, courteously and patiently.
• Follow traffic laws and bear responsibility for tickets or citations.
• Display NeighborHealth placard on the dashboard.
• Report any issues to the food service manager.
• Keep carriers closed and meals secured during transit.
