Job summary

NACOG is seeking a program monitor to oversee Head Start centers in Arizona, ensuring compliance across service areas, including development, health, family partnerships, CACFP, and licensing. You will collect data and prepare monthly reports while promoting high-quality services.

The role supports staff development, recruitment efforts, and program planning, requiring an associate degree or equivalent experience. Local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Child or Human Development, Social and Behavioral Sciences, or related field; and one year of experience in a Head Start program; OR three (3) years’ experience in a Head Start program; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and documents the operations, activities, and recordkeeping of all program service areas to ensure program compliance.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets information and data for monthly monitoring reports.
• Collaborates with staff and community agencies to identify community resources addressing child and family needs.
• Facilitates and coordinates staff training to promote professional development and ensure program compliance.
• Assists in developing and evaluating the Service Areas and Program goals for quality services.
• Assists in development, implementation, and monitoring of personnel actions.
• Assists in recruitment activities to enroll eligible children and families.
