Job summary

Southwest Human Development in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Program Compliance Monitor to ensure programs meet federal, state, and local requirements. You will monitor HSPPS, CACFP, licensing, health and safety standards, conduct reviews, audits, and site visits.

This role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least two years of Head Start or program monitoring experience; strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Public Health, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in Head Start, early childhood education, childcare licensing, program monitoring, compliance, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HSPPS, CACFP regulations, AZ licensing, and Caring for Our Children health and safety standards.
• Experience reviewing records, conducting audits, or monitoring activities, and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with HSPPS, CACFP, Arizona licensing, and health/safety standards.
• Conduct record reviews, audits, and on-site visits.
• Identify areas of non-compliance and provide technical assistance.
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Track compliance outcomes and follow up on required improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Support continuous quality improvement across programs.
