Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDA or MA EEC Lead Teacher Certification preferred or commitment within 2 years.
• Experience with young children and Head Start program preferred.
• Associates degree in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing daily educational activities and lesson plans.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being.
• Observe and record children’s progress and participate in IEP development as directed.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about child progress.
• Maintain health and safety standards including sanitation and emergency procedures.
