Job summary

ECS4Kids seeks an Assistant Teacher to assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring a safe and engaging classroom. You will support routines, engage with children, and collaborate with the Lead Teacher to promote learning across development domains.

The role requires a High School Diploma and DCF 45-hour training, with CDA credentials or higher encouraged within 2 years. Experience in Head Start or early childhood education is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and DCF 45-hour training are required.
• CDA credential or an associate/baccalaureate in ECE within 2 years of hire is preferred.
• National CDA or state certificate meets requirements for Assistant Teacher I.
