Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; one year of child care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with Head Start goals and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain classroom safety, equipment, and supplies; keep hazards away from children.
• Assist with meal service, family-style dining, cleanup, and health/hygiene tasks.
• Chaperone outdoor play and field trips; monitor children during all activities.
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay current with policies and professional development.
