Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA with ECE focus as stated in the posting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families and community partners.
• Understanding of mandated reporting requirements per state law and program procedures.
• Must pass state and federal background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, healthy, organized environment for children through daily monitoring.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with families and staff.
• Follow Head Start and licensing regulations and CACFP requirements.
• Maintain records and assist in home visits and parent conferences; report child progress.
• Communicate positively with children, parents, staff, and partners.
• Collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and participate in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
