Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois is seeking a Manager on Point to supervise Head Start centers and ensure compliance with Head Start standards and DCFS requirements. You will manage classroom staff, support family engagement, and drive staff development initiatives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, DCFS/Head Start standards knowledge, and required background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• Must meet DCFS requirements for Head Start Performance Standards and related qualifications.
• Fingerprinting and background check required by regulatory codes (89 Ill. Adm. Code 385).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day supervision of classroom staff.
• Ensure implementation of Creative Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, and CLASS.
• Maintain understanding of Head Start policies and CAPCIL policies.
• Monitor compliance with Head Start standards, health regulations, and DCFS requirements.
• Coordinate ERSEA processes and staff trainings.
• Support family engagement activities and volunteer staff development.
