Job summary

SCMCAA is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead center staff of the Head Start/Early Head Start program. The role reports to the Head Start Director and focuses on ensuring compliance with Head Start standards and state childcare regulations.

The Site Supervisor will oversee staff performance, manage schedules, facilitate staff meetings, and coordinate with community service partners to maintain high-quality services for children and families.

Qualifications

• Possess or obtain a CDA.
• Possess an A.A. degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Possess experience working in a Head Start or comparable program.
• Possess experience supervising employees.
• Possess experience in human services management, including planning, operations and evaluations.
• Possess experience with computers and management information systems.
• Obtain Missouri Chauffeur's License within 60 days of employment.
• Obtain initial medical exam and TB assessment within 30 days; required every five years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff responsibilities and address deficiencies.
• Inform Component Managers of concerns using appropriate forms.
• Review and monitor Head Start program requirements and records.
• Complete required reports by deadlines.
• Ensure staff meet job expectations.
• Supervise program of services for children and families.
• Engage in ongoing assessment of service quality.
• Inspect facilities and equipment and correct issues.
