Save the Children is seeking a Center Director/Lead Teacher to oversee Head Start/Early Head Start centers and ensure compliance with regulations. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate family engagement while maintaining high-quality teaching environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development and 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience implementing Head Start Performance Standards and best practices.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage budgets.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and partners.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office; knowledge of licensing and QRIS processes.

Responsabilités

• Hire and coach staff; resolve conflicts; support professional development; manage schedules.
• Oversee budgets, identify community needs, ensure regulatory conformance and standards.
• Lead staff meetings, train, set goals, and provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure quality teaching environments and plan in-service.
• Monitor attendance, family engagement events, and monthly parent meetings.
• Ensure safety checks, licensing compliance, and data input accuracy in systems.
• Lead licensing processes, QRIS, and accreditation efforts; perform related duties.
