Job summary

Confidential Company, a leading global financial services organization, seeks a polished Workplace Operations Manager to oversee workplace experience and operations for a large corporate account in Midtown Manhattan.

This high-visibility, white-glove role demands discretion, strong client service, and the ability to manage a sizable national team, vendors, and facilities, while serving as the primary client-facing leader for the account.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities, client services, corporate services, or a related field.
• Strong people-management experience, ideally overseeing a sizable or multi-location team.
• Background in financial services, banking, investment management, private equity, hedge funds, law firms, or another sophisticated professional-services environment strongly preferred.
• Experience overseeing facilities, front-of-house, hospitality, and workplace services.
• Strong vendor management experience, including sourcing and RFPs.
• Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Polished, articulate, discreet and confident personality.
• Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable operating in a highly visible, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to serve as an after-hours/weekend escalation point when needed.
• Flexibility to travel domestically based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a national workplace team of approximately 19+ employees.
• Oversee facilities, reception, hospitality, and client services.
• Serve as the primary client-facing leader for the account.
• Maintain visibility across multiple locations and ensure consistent service standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, sourcing, quotes, and RFP processes.
• Oversee facilities and building-related issues, including after-hours escalation.
• Support employee onboarding, team integration, and workplace programming.
• Partner on corporate events, hospitality, and community-building initiatives.
• Utilize workplace technology and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
