Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Workplace Lead to own our NYC HQ. You will run the Office Manager and Receptionist, build out the team and systems to scale from 200 to 500 people, and lead a major office build-out.

This strategic role treats the office as a product, shipping improvements to match the intensity of our work. You’ll manage budgets, vendors, and the look and feel of our spaces while partnering with IT, Security, and People Ops.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in workplace, office operations, or facilities at a high-growth startup or tech company.
• You've built a workplace function and led the team that runs it day to day.
• You've led a major office build-out or relocation.
• Budgeting and vendor management; you negotiate and hold people accountable.
• You design durable systems and prevent one-off fixes.
• Extreme ownership for critical incidents and reliability.
• Strong attention to detail; office aesthetics and operations matter.
• Excellent communicator with diverse stakeholders including executives and contractors.
• Plus experience in fintech, crypto, or fast-moving startups is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Keep NYC HQ running at a high standard—space, supplies, furniture, and vibes.
• Manage vendors and the workplace budget; plan, track, and optimize costs.
• Shape the in-office experience so investors, candidates, and partners understand Polymarket at a glance.
• Collaborate with IT and Security on visitor mgmt, room booking, inventory, and maintenance.
• Own workplace health, safety, and local compliance, including drills.
• Lead the workplace team and define goals, coaching, and performance.
• Write playbooks and SOPs to ensure smooth operations when you’re out of the room.
• Lead in-office events and partner with People Ops on culture initiatives.
