Job summary

Performance Food Group, through Performance Foodservice, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the warehouse workflow and driver fleet, focusing on recruiting, safety and compliance, and training. The role emphasizes achieving corporate goals and profitability as part of the senior management team.

You will supervise staff, optimize inventory, manage budgets, and coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure efficient, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 6–10 years of foodservice operations experience with supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow and service level; budget the Warehouse Department yearly and monitor monthly.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and accurate manner.
• Establish procedures maximizing the efficiency of the operations department.
• Solve operational problems and make decisions in situations with minimal standardization.
• Improve operational strategies and processes based on knowledge of food distribution.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
