Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Director to oversee all warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, and to guarantee the accurate and timely flow of product through the facility.

You will lead a team, monitor staffing, training, and performance management, coordinate with inventory staff to maintain counts, and ensure adherence to SOPs while maintaining equipment and safety standards to support our customers and operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 4 - 6 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs all warehouse operations including shipping and receiving product.
• Controls warehouse functions to ensure the accurate and timely flow of product through the warehouse.
• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management.
• Ensures trucks are unloaded/loaded properly by overseeing workload scheduling and delivery of product.
• Reviews stock status reports and coordinates with inventory staff to maintain accurate counts and meet customer needs.
• Coordinates with inventory staff to handle obsolete product and substitutions as needed.
• Maintains building and equipment by supervising maintenance and repair activities.
• Notifies customers and internal teams of stock shortages and substitutions as needed.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and company policies.
