Highmark Health seeks a senior product leader to guide the Utilization Management portfolio. You will set strategy, drive roadmaps, and realize value across UM operations, product delivery, and customer outcomes. Partner with stakeholders to shape the future of UM products and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires deep health insurance domain knowledge, leadership experience, and a track record of delivering impactful products that improve customer and provider experiences.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in product management, strategy, operational improvement, and/or consulting or other relevant experience, preferably within the health insurance industry.
• 5 years of experience in Management or leadership role.
• UM experience in payer or provider or health tech organization (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities including hiring/termination, coaching, rewards, and staff productivity.
• Define and articulate product vision and strategy with stakeholders; socialize roadmap.
• Develop multi-year product roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Lead product development from ideation to launch with cross-functional teams.
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage backlog, prioritize features, and track timelines and budgets.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve usability and performance.
• Monitor product performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing product team; foster collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
