Job summary

CSB Active is seeking a Head of Retail (US) to build and lead the US physical retail presence, strategy and operations for a fast-growing global brand. The role is senior and hands-on, owning the US retail roadmap, store openings, and four-wall profitability from day one.

You will partner with the COO and cross-functional leaders to ensure every CSB store reflects the brand while delivering strong commercial performance, customer experience, and omnichannel integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retail with 5+ years leading multi-site or regional US operations.
• Proven track record opening new stores or launching a brand in US retail.
• Strong financial acumen: P&L, budgeting, forecasting, business cases.
• Experience with US retail real estate, leases, store fit-out.
• Ability to work across functions and with executives in different time zones.
• Willingness to travel across the US and to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Set the US retail strategy including city prioritization and store formats.
• Lead market analysis, build business cases, negotiate leases.
• Own store openings and develop repeatable playbooks.
• Run P&L, monitor sales, margins, wages, occupancy.
• Design store operating model and SOPs; ensure compliance.
• Create standout in-store experience and local community events.
• Coordinate omnichannel initiatives like click and collect.
• Build and lead US store teams and store managers.
• Grow wholesale via premium boutiques and department stores.
