Job summary

Hyve Group is seeking a Director of Event Operations USA to lead the delivery of Shoptalk and Groceryshop in the United States. You will oversee end-to-end operational planning, cross-functional collaboration, and high-performing teams to ensure flawless event execution.

You will manage multi-workstream projects, develop teams, and drive continuous improvement in planning, governance and delivery across large-scale conferences and live events.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in event operations, production or related field.
• Proven leadership of multi-workstream projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong people management and team development.
• Exceptional project management with structure and prioritization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across levels.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing event budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational planning and delivery of Shoptalk and Groceryshop in the USA.
• Own integrated event project plans with clear milestones and deadlines.
• Establish PM rhythms: planning, status, risk, escalation.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with escalation as needed.
• Lead onsite delivery and post-event reviews for continuous improvement.
