Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks a Workplace Engineering Manager, Unified Communications (UComm) to own the architecture of our enterprise communications across global locations. You will lead platforms such as Slack and Zoom, Cisco VoIP services, Zoom Phone integrations, and critical A/V systems, prioritizing security, resiliency, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Unified Communications or Enterprise Voice engineering teams with ownership of platform architecture and standards.
• Strong experience operating Slack and Zoom as enterprise collaboration platforms in large-scale environments.
• Deep technical expertise with Cisco Unified Communications including VoIP architecture, call routing, and survivability design.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for enterprise voice, video, messaging, and A/V systems across VERSANT’s global footprint.
• Lead a UComm engineering organization that includes offshore VoIP engineers and collaborate with onshore A/V and facilities partners.
• Shape the communications and A/V architecture for VERSANT’s HQ and deploy across 20+ global locations with standardized blueprints.
• Establish technical standards, resiliency models, escalation paths, and security controls for consistent operation and incident response.
