Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance in quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data analysis including pricing/underwriting context.
• 1+ year of experience managing direct reports.
• 1+ year experience with pharmaceutical claims data.
• Expertise in SQL for data transformation and analysis with good documentation.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Knowledge of ETL fundamentals and cloud-based data warehouses.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Proven history of leading cross-functional initiatives and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze client pharmaceutical data to support underwriting and sales.
• Improve data quality, understand data fields, and reduce irregularities.
• Coordinate data requests with relevant parties for analysis needs.
• Troubleshoot and customize SQL, Python, and R code for data issues.
• Develop new analyses, reports, and process improvements for pricing models.
• Provide ad-hoc analytics support for bid opportunities.
• Support Pricing, Clinical, Account Management, and Implementation teams with analytics.
• Collaborate to maintain underwriting and financial modeling infrastructure and SOPs.
• Train new hires in underwriting data tools and processes.
• Manage and prioritize the Underwriting Data Analysts' work queue.
• Conduct QA reviews of ad hoc analyses and dashboards.
• Document processes, procedures, and best practices.
