Judi Health is seeking a Lead Underwriting Data Analyst to head the team responsible for data-driven underwriting insights and pricing analytics. You will mentor analysts, own data infrastructure enhancements, and collaborate with sales, pricing, clinical, and implementation teams to optimize client onboarding and ongoing pricing models.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate bachelor's degree with strong academics in a quantitative field
• 5+ years of proven data analysis experience (financial, actuarial, pricing/underwriting)
• 1+ year of experience managing direct reports
• 1+ year of experience with pharmaceutical claims data
• Expertise with SQL for data transformation and analysis
• Proficiency in Python and R
• Working knowledge of ETL and cloud-based data warehouses
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data
• Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives and meeting deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a shifting queue
• Highly organized with attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Collect, clean, and analyze pharmaceutical data to support underwriting and sales
• Understand data fields, identify irregularities, and improve quality
• Coordinate with stakeholders for data requirements and ambiguity resolution
• Troubleshoot and customize SQL, Python, and R code to fix issues
• Develop new analyses and reports to support pricing models
• Provide ad-hoc analytics to underwrite and pricing teams during bids
• Support client transitions with analytics across teams
• Collaborate to maintain underwriting, financial modeling, and SOP infrastructure
• Train new hires in data tools and processes
• Manage the Underwriting Data Analysts and queue assignments
• QA review of analyses and custom reporting views
• Maintain team documentation and best practices
