Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, or CS.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience (financial/ actuarial/ pricing & underwriting).
• 1+ year of managing direct reports.
• Experience with pharmaceutical claims data.
• Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis; good documentation practices.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Familiarity with ETL and cloud-based data warehouses.
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Ability to deliver multiple complex projects on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Underwriting Data Analyst team in daily operations and project delivery.
• Mentor team members and serve as SME for data-related questions.
• Maintain and enhance data infrastructure and analytics features.
• Analyze pharmaceutical data to support underwriting and pricing.
• Develop analyses, reports, and SOPs for new and existing products.
• Coordinate data requirements with pricing, clinical, and account teams.
• Provide ad-hoc analytics support for bid opportunities.
• Ensure data quality and resolve data issues across datasets.
• Train new hires and manage the analytics work queue.
• QA review of analyses and dashboards for internal/external reporting.
