DSJ Global is seeking a Senior Director of Transportation to lead enterprise-wide transportation strategy, fleet operations, and logistics execution across multiple sites in the Boston area. This hands-on executive role drives asset utilization, safety, and service reliability while shaping governance and standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in transportation or fleet management, 5+ years leading large teams, and deep knowledge of regulations, analytics, and TMS/telematics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics, or related operations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale transportation or fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety programs, and fleet maintenance best practices.
• Experience managing multi-site operations, transportation networks, and asset-intensive environments.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, transportation management systems, and route optimization tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise transportation strategy and fleet operations across multiple locations.
• Drive initiatives to improve fleet utilization, efficiency, reliability, and service performance.
• Establish transportation standards, governance processes, and best practices.
• Oversee transportation network optimization and route efficiency initiatives.
• Develop and maintain fleet reliability programs to maximize uptime and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for transportation operations.
