Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in transportation with at least 5 years in senior leadership, strong regulatory knowledge, and experience with Samsara eLog and TMS tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in transportation or logistics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute transportation strategies to enhance service, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across all delivery operations.
• Fleet & Route Optimization: Oversee fleet management, route planning, and on‑road operations to maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all FMCSA, DOT, and safety regulations, maintaining compliance and overseeing any required audits.
• Team Leadership: Lead a multi‑level team, including managers and supervisors, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Customer Experience: Work closely with customer service and operations teams to address delivery challenges and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track KPIs, and report on transportation metrics to executive leadership.
