Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale, part of CoralTree Hospitality Group, seeks an Executive Steward to lead the Stewarding Department and uphold sanitation, safety and cost controls in a luxury hotel setting.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will manage inventory, sanitation programs (HACCP/Sanitation), coordinate opening and closing procedures, and mentor team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A 4-year college degree is preferred for this role.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience in a luxury hotel or club property is required.

Mansioni

• Maintains on time delivery of clean and sanitized equipment to requisitioning department.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all back of the house F&B areas.
• Controls the use, movement and storage of hazardous cleaning chemicals and compressed gasses.
• Oversees and manages the daily operation of Team Member Cafeteria.
• Manages Operational and Labor Costs against Budget.
• Conducts New Product and trend research to keep our operation on the cutting edge.
• Works as a liaison between the property, EcoLab & Waste Management (or other designated companies).
• Manages and effectively communicates with Stewarding team members.
• Coordination & creation of opening & closing procedures.
• Develops job description & SOPs accordantly to create effective levels of quality & efficiency.
• Communicates effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house team members.
• Conducts, attends meetings including: daily communication, service, culinary line up, chef's meeting, weekly staff meeting, monthly department meetings.
• Maintain all sanitation and HACCP documentation in accordance health codes.
• Guiding and supporting the team to exceed our guest satisfaction goals.
• Communicates popular & unpopular content effectively.
• Use the team member handbook as a tool to effectively coach team members.
• Create professional working relationships amongst all Pier Sixty-Six team members.
• Effectively motivate team members and to maintain a cohesive team.
• Performs related duties as required.
