Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Director of Sales for the State & Local Government - East team. You will develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for government accounts, guiding the team to achieve aggressive revenue targets while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

You will lead a high-energy, results-oriented team, drive strategic planning, and manage complex sales cycles in a dynamic, AI-driven enterprise environment. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and developing a sales team (recruiting, hiring, coaching, training for account executives).
• Proven experience communicating, negotiating, and helping account executives close deals with key executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for State & Local Government - East.
