Job summary

Aegis Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a VP of Business Development to drive growth across DoD, NASA, and commercial space markets.

You will lead strategic planning, capture, and proposals while directing a team of BD and sales professionals to win major contracts and build strong customer partnerships. The role requires executive-level communication, market insight, and a track record of growing revenue through strategic alliances and effective program execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BD and sales across DoD, NASA, and commercial space markets.
• Proven ability to build and manage a high-performing business development team.
• Deep understanding of government contracting, procurement, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s business development and sales activities, including strategic planning, capture, and budgeting.
• Oversee development of an integrated sales capability to grow new business.
• Build and mentor a BD team, including matrixed personnel.
• Identify, capture, and phase-in new business aligned with long-term objectives.
• Represent the company to customers and at conferences, maintaining branding consistency.
