Job summary

Xometry, a leading on-demand manufacturing marketplace in Waltham, MA, is seeking a Director of Sourcing Strategy & Operations. You will lead a 20+ person sourcing team, drive margin improvements, and shape multi-year sourcing roadmaps across CNC machining, additive and fabrication verticals.

You’ll partner with product, engineering and pricing to scale the marketplace, apply AI-driven supplier matching, and optimize workflows from order placement to delivery for hyper-growth in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing, procurement, or marketplace operations.
• Experience applying data analytics and AI to strategic decisions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive growth.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ sourcing specialists to improve margin and efficiency.
• Define and execute sourcing strategy across manufacturing verticals.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, pricing, and sales.
• Drive AI-enabled improvements in supplier matching and cost.
• Monitor KPIs from order to delivery and redesign workflows.
