You will manage advanced sourcing cases requiring detailed technical or pricing analysis and coordinate with suppliers, customers, engineers, and internal teams to place orders beyond automated workflows.

The role emphasizes technical understanding, cross-functional collaboration, and careful risk assessment to hit cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain management in manufacturing or related environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T.
• Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with online research and cost-validation for materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of advanced sourcing cases requiring detailed technical or pricing analysis.
• Investigate root causes and develop recovery strategies for stalled projects.
• Review technical documentation and drawings with engineers, clients, or manufacturers for feasibility and risks.
• Collaborate across design, quoting, case management, and sales to resolve concerns.
• Communicate with suppliers and customers to clarify requirements and negotiate terms.
• Maintain case notes and documentation for leadership visibility and continuity.
• Provide guidance to Sourcing Coordinators on complex situations.
