Join us as the Head of Sales at Cordance

Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of vertically focused business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies through acquisition and strategic guidance. We partner with founders to help them scale and realize their companies' full potential.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead Hapara's K-12 sales team, driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the education technology market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the K-12 landscape, proven sales leadership experience, and the ability to mentor and scale high-performing teams. This role is crucial in achieving Hapara's mission of empowering teachers and improving student outcomes.

This is a fully remote role; candidates must reside in the US with full work authorization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with Hapara's revenue goals.
  2. Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to exceed targets.
  3. Monitor market trends and refine sales tactics accordingly.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales with product and customer success.
  5. Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.
  6. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
  7. Oversee pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM optimization.
  8. Analyze sales metrics to improve conversion rates and revenue.
  9. Drive adoption of standardized sales methodologies.
  10. Ensure cross-departmental collaboration for messaging and customer insights.
Qualifications:
  1. Deep knowledge of the B2B SaaS K-12 education market.
  2. Proven success in sales leadership within this sector.
  3. Experience in leading and growing high-performing sales teams.
  4. Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Workspace; familiarity with other sales tools is a plus.
  5. Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
