Job summary

Universal Robots seeks a senior regional Application Engineering leader to provide pre-sales support and training, align regional activities with global processes, and lead a diverse team across multiple countries. You will enable partners and end-users with robotics applications, drive service initiatives, and manage complex client relationships.

You will collaborate with CDMs and Sales Engineers, develop technical knowledge, participate in trade shows, and guide the regional application

Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, advanced degree preferred
+10 years successful track record of technical support in the robotics industry
Solid technical knowledge and skills of robotics and automation including multiple applications
Documented success over multiple years in pre-sales support, post-sales support and training
Experience supporting structured sales, plans, budgets, pipeline management
+3 years experience managing people on site and/or on the distance
Experience managing complex client relationships is required
Strong oral communication skills including the ability to de-escalate sensitive situation
Business acumen that you can apply in interactions with all levels in the company, from senior management to technical support employees
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and sale enablement to partners and end-users
Develop distributors’/end users technical knowledge and abilities with regards to Universal Robots and applications
Support Service 360 activities and case management in accordance with global service processes
Exchange knowledge with, and invigorate the global Application Engineering community
Navigate regional and global organization, drive processes locally and align with global technical team
Direct leadership of +10 employees in multiple countries and/or high complexity
Own the performance management process for your team including goal setting and appraisals
Create pre-sales and technical KPIs to drive growth and partnerships with CDMs/Sales Engineers
Hire, onboard, delegate, train and coach team members
Interact with C-suite level executives from distributors, partners and key customers
Ensure team members follow process standards and drive continuous improvement
