Job summary

McAfee in California is seeking a Director of Retention Analytics to lead and evolve the function, shaping retention strategy, customer lifetime value, and business performance. You will own the analytics roadmap, oversee forecasting and performance measurement, and partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize outcomes.

This role requires a track record of executive storytelling, strong leadership, and the ability to build a high‑performing analytics team

Qualifications

• 12+ years of analytics, business strategy, management consulting, finance, business intelligence, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience, including managing and scaling teams.
• Experience leading analytics functions influencing executive decision‑making and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and cross‑functional leadership teams to define strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision, operating model, and roadmap for Retention Analytics.
• Serve as the senior analytics leader for Retention, translating business challenges into actionable insights.
• Drive development of annual, quarterly, and long‑range retention plans with senior stakeholders.
• Own retention forecasting and performance management, monitoring results and risks.
• Lead analysis of retention, subscriber behavior, journeys, churn drivers, and loyalty trends.
• Establish measurement frameworks for retention initiatives, experiments, and A/B testing.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience to shape key initiatives.
• Modernize and scale analytics with automation and self‑service insights.
• Develop executive-ready narratives and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Build and develop a high‑performing analytics team.
• Set departmental goals, rhythms, priorities, and success metrics.
