Job summary

McAfee is seeking a hands-on analytics leader to run Retention Analytics. You will own insights into subscriber journeys, lifecycle performance, and the effectiveness of retention marketing, partnering with Engagement and Retention, Finance, and Product.

Based in a US hub with hybrid onsite requirements, you will build annual plans, forecast retention, and translate findings into executive-ready recommendations to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an analytical, management consulting, finance, or similar role—including people-leadership experience.
• Analytical problem-solving: structure and solve exploratory problems with attention to detail.
• Business communication: translate complex concepts into executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Data & coding fluency: SQL, Python, and generative AI tools for analysis.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and cross-functional collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Retention Analytics team and own insights for Retention strategy and outcomes.
• Prepare executive-ready materials on retention trends, pacing, and initiatives.
• Build annual and quarterly plans with Engagement and Retention, Finance, and Product.
• Own retention forecasting; monitor plan vs. performance and communicate risks.
• Measure impact of retention initiatives and A/B tests; optimize messaging from results.
• Modernize data reporting; partner with Data Engineering to automate dashboards.
• Analyze subscriber behavior to uncover churn risks and journey pain points.
• Identify high-value segments to drive loyalty and reduce churn.
• Manage and coach 2–4 analysts; set priorities and invest in skills development.
