Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking a Director, Renewable Project Engineering to lead the technical delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects from development through construction and commissioning.

You will set engineering strategies, oversee multidisciplinary design activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and commercial requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering renewable energy or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery across feasibility, permitting, procurement, contracting, detailed design, construction, testing and handover.
• Review and approve technical documentation, design packages, calculations, specifications, and contractor submissions; identify and manage technical risks.
• Provide engineering leadership across multiple projects and collaborate with development, commercial, legal, finance, operations, and project delivery teams.
