Job summary

RES is seeking a Director, EPC Projects to lead the power delivery construction business with an emphasis on renewable energy. You will manage a large team and ensure safe operation, delivering projects on time and on budget while developing relationships with utilities and private customers.

Travel 16-30% is required. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of construction experience are expected, along with strong communication, leadership, and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Construction experience, preferably on Utility projects with some experience in Transmission Line power delivery system construction.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels of the business.
• Ability to motivate a team to work well with others and successfully deliver results.
• Willingness to travel (16-30%).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Proficient user of MS Office and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Reviews the RES construction business strategy plan yearly.
• Directs and supervises the delivery of power delivery construction projects.
• Assists in the negotiation of contracts with the Pre-Construction team.
• Manages the development of the project execution team to ensure continued growth in the business.
• Interacts with the managers of clients to ensure alignment on project delivery.
• Develops and maintains schedules, processes, and procedures to ensure on-time delivery.
