Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Director of Project Engineering, Renewable Engineering, to lead the Project Engineering function for wind, solar, and hybrid projects. You will ensure consistent technical execution, manage drawings and RFIs, and coordinate with PM and other engineering teams to drive successful project delivery across a diversified renewable portfolio.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 10+ years in energy, and 5+ years of leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in renewable energy, power generation, engineering, project execution, construction, or related leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineers, technical teams, consultants, or cross-functional project teams.
• Experience supporting utility-scale wind, solar, BESS, or hybrid projects through contracting, design, construction, commissioning, testing, and/or commercial operation.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, offtake agreements, interconnection requirements, scopes of work, and engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Invenergy’s Project Engineering function for wind, solar, BESS, and hybrid projects across the portfolio.
• Refine expectations for Project Engineers to ensure consistent technical delivery of projects.
• Oversee coordination with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Manage technical workstreams including drawings, RFIs, submittals, NCRs, and issue resolution.
• Lead risk identification, escalation, and alignment with project controls and commercial strategy.
• Provide leadership on engineering support for financing and independent engineer due diligence.
