Job summary

UniversalAGI in San Francisco is seeking a Manager of Recruiting to own and scale the talent engine, partnering with the CEO and founding team to translate headcount plans into a world-class recruiting strategy.

You will lead a team of technical and non-technical recruiters, sourcing and coordinating while handling your own full-cycle searches across AI/ML, research, CFD/physics, engineering, GTM, sales, and operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with leadership exposure.
Experience hiring for both technical and non-technical roles.
Experience building or scaling a recruiting function within a fast-growing startup.
Expert-level sourcing chops and track record of closing top talent with multiple offers.
Strong data fluency and ability to build recruiting dashboards.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and grow a team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.
Carry your own full-cycle requisitions across technical and non-technical roles.
Own recruiting OKRs and capacity planning; manage allocation and priorities.
Partner with CEO and founders to shape role definitions and hiring strategy.
Build and protect pipelines in hard-to-fill niches.
Own recruiting metrics: pipeline conversion, time-to-hire, sourcing effectiveness, offers.
Set exceptional candidate experience from outreach to close.
