Job summary

UniversalAGI in San Francisco is seeking a Founding Technical Recruiter who will own hiring across our technical roles from day one. You’ll partner with the CEO and founding team to build a world-class team capable of accelerating industrial AI and physics simulation.

You’ll design and execute creative sourcing strategies, manage 50+ candidates, and maintain a pipeline weeks ahead of needs while delivering a superior candidate experience in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Proven track record recruiting senior individual contributors and leaders.
• Expertise in technical sourcing through tools and channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean and X-ray search.
• Strong technical curiosity and ability to learn complex domains and converse with senior engineers.
• Exceptional partnership and communication skills with founders and technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring across our technical roles and define hiring priorities with leaders.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies to identify niche talent.
• Manage the candidate pipeline end-to-end, 50+ active candidates at once.
• Partner with the CEO and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and compete effectively.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline ahead of hiring needs.
• Design and optimize recruiting workflows and processes for scale.
• Track, analyze, and optimize key recruiting metrics.
• Represent UniversalAGI at conferences and in relevant communities.
